Texas Hold’Em Heads Up Poker is played with one standard 52-card deck. The player and computer opponent are each dealt a two-card hand followed by five community cards. The object of this game, for the player and computer opponent alike, is to make the best five-card poker hand by using any combination from their two-card hand and five community cards.
The player starts each playing session as the big blind – the computer opponent as the small blind. Thereafter, the game alternates the blind positions with each new hand. The big blind and small blind bets are forced bets before each new hand begins with the big blind bet set at two credits and the small blind bet set at one credit.
There are four betting rounds: the Start, the Flop, the Turn, and the River. The Start and Flop rounds are played with a limit bet of two credits, the Turn and River rounds are played with a limit bet of four credits. A maximum of four bets (bets, raises or re-raises) are allowed during each betting round – note that the blind bets do not count toward this maximum. Anytime the player or computer opponent folds, the opponent making the last bet, raise or re-raise wins the pot.

Start
This betting round is initiated by the blind bets. Once the player and computer opponent have their first two cards the small blind has the option of folding, calling or raising. If the small blind calls, the big blind has the option of checking or raising. If the small blind raises the big blind has the option of folding, callingor re-raising. Flop
After the first three community cards are dealt the big blind has the option of checking or betting. If the big blind checks, the small blind has the option of checking or betting. If the big blind bets the small blind has the option of folding, calling or raising. If the small blind bets or raises the action returns to the big blind.
Turn
After the fourth community card is dealt the big blind has the option of checking or betting. If the big blind checks, the small blind has the option of checking or betting. If the big blind bets the small blind has the option of folding, calling or raising. If the small blind bets or raises the action returns to the big blind.
River
After the fifth and last community card is dealt the big blind has the option of checking or betting. If the big blind checks, the small blind has the option of checking or betting. If the big blind bets the small blind has the option of folding, calling or raising. If the small blind bets or raises the action returns to the big blind.
After the four betting rounds have been concluded the winner of the pot (if both the layer and computer opponent are still in the hand) is the holder of the best five-card poker hand using any combination from their two-card hand and five community cards. If the player and computer opponent have identical best five-card poker hands the player and computer opponent split the pot.
